Hi Curtis,

Trust that you've settled now in Assinniboia and everything is OK. It's been awhile since we've talked. Will call you hopefully sometime this weekend.

Hey, T! No doubt about it! We need to get together! I have been swamped with work (funeral today even!) and unpacking, so that I haven't had a day off since I've been here. Sooo, I absolutely need fellowship. Monday is my day off and I know that it is Victoria's Day but things might slow down toward the end of next week so that I might be able to make it up to Moose Jaw. Maybe...maybe even this Saturday, but it all depends on the Holy Spirit and my diligence.
Am hanging in there, but don't want to slip into becoming a human doing instead of a human being. That and the demons are always at the ready and never far off.
I hope that you are feeling better. Pray for this poor back-sliding sinner and we'll keep in touch. Thanks for the note!
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU!

Hey Curtis,

Thanks for the phone call the other day. Maybe we will have coffee soon in MJ. I've been mostly in bed these days. Was talking with the guys about maybe a road trip and terrorizing... sorry, meant visiting you. Will get more details tomorrow night about it. I do not know... the price of gas used to see a back sliding Lutheran, (just kidding).

I saw Dennis Lueck last week at his church in Regina... Faith Lutheran. Mentioned you, and he knows that if you know me, then you need prayer, lol.

Trust everything is falling into place. You still living out of boxes?

When I was living in Toronto, I mentioned to my wife that I wanted to go to Bible College and had brochures for the Alliance Colleges in the US. A week later, I rec'd the Cdn. brochure for CBC, which at the time was in Regina, SK.
My wife asked me where's Regina and I said Saskatchewan. She then asked where's that, and I replied not to worry, they have palm trees, ha ha.

Our move with a Ryder cube truck took 4 days... we stayed in Winnipeg, MB 2 nights with friends. So travelling was 3 days... note, I usually drive straight through 36 hours... used to be a trucker.

We too were blessed by God's hand leading us. My wife drove the car and we had radios. No problems whatsoever, and the townhouse that I rented was very clean. This was the best move ever.

Yep. Coming up to Saskatchewan for the climate! Funny in that I told myself that I would NEVER serve up in that part of the world again because of the harsh winters! The LORD sure has other plans in store for us. Weird thing is, is that I feel SO BLESSED about the move! Go figure!

Gentleman (can I get away with calling you that?) CHRIST HAS RISEN! We've been getting out stuff together in order to make the move. We've reserved the U-Haul and are steeling ourselves for the long trip. I do have your phone #s so hope to get together when the group meets. Hope that your Easter was blessed!
MAY THE LORD BLESS YOU AND KEEP YOU!

Hi Curtis,

Trust you have been behaving yourself! Not too much happening here in SK (nothing does, lol). Are you moving yourself or hired a van line?

Well, we have not had snow for a few weeks now... snow is nearly all melted thus, hopefully the farmers will get a lot of rain to compensate for the shortfall or there would be a severe drought. I know, I am employed with Agriculture Canada Farm Disasters though been off on disability since Oct/06.
My wife and daughter are in Toronto shopping for a week! Just me and my German Shepherd. Must call Visa and lower my credit rating, ha ha.
Well Curtis, I look forward to meeting you and having fellowship.
